This tour includes a visit to Lovćen National Park and the Lovćen Museum, located in Njeguši, which is one of the most picturesque villages on the mountain.

Njeguši is a picturesque old Montenegrin village located between Cetinje and Kotor. The village is situated at an altitude of approximately 900 m above sea level. A special attraction in Njeguši is the Lovćen Road which consists of 25 turns and 25 km of winding roads.

The view of the Montenegrin coast is particularly attractive in summer when temperatures are much lower than on the coast. This is one of the most beautiful vantage points from which one can have a view of the Montenegrin coast and – if the weather permits – even the coast of Italy. The Njeguši village is best known as the birthplace of the royal dynasty Petrović which ruled from 1696 to 1918.

Lovćen is a mountain and national park in southwestern Montenegro. It has two imposing peaks, Štirovnik (1,749 m) and Jezerski vrh (1,657 m). The mountain slopes are rocky, with numerous fissures, pits, and deep depressions giving its scenery a specific look.

Lovćen is located between two different natural wholes, the sea, and the mainland, so it is influenced by both climates. The specific connection of living conditions has caused the development of different biological systems. There are 1,158 plant species on Lovćen, four of which are endemic.

The biggest and most important monument of Lovćen national park is Petar Petrović Njegoš’s Mausoleum. He was a Prince-Bishop (Vladika) of Montenegro, poet, and philosopher whose works are widely considered some of the most important in Montenegrin literature. Njegoš chose his burial place and the mausoleum at the summit of Jezerski vrh himself.
